We've got prizes from Rudy Project, Bicycling Magazine, Transmitter Brewing and maybe some other tasty goodness, too.  We'll be giving these out as supplements for overall wins, events wins, primes, suave tactical moves on the track, and maybe even for just being nice.  You will not be disappointed!

All events will be mass start; no timed events.

 


Omnium-style track meet.  Track bikes only.  USA Cycling rules apply.  Open to all riders with USA Cycling Road/Track/Cross license; one-day licenses can be purchased online ONLY for $15.  Annual licenses are also available online ONLY for $70.  For non-licensed riders it is highly suggested that you purchase an annual license at http://www.usacycling.org and bring an Authorization to Ride with you if you haven’t received the license yet.  Categories will be combined or split at promoter’s discretion based on attendance.  Promoter reserves the right to reduce prize list or cancel races that do not meet the minimum field limit listed above.  

 

No extra charge for multiple categories.  Rider sign-in opens 1 hour before race start.  Pre-registration is required and can be done online at http://www.bikereg.com until the Saturday morning before Sunday's race.

Event Descriptions:

Scratch: Race for an established quantity of laps.  Riders finish final lap 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc
          
Win & Out: Race for an established quantity of laps.  Winner of the bell lap wins the race.  Winner of the following lap (bell+1) is 2nd.  Placings on the next following lap (bell+2) are 3rd, 4th, etc
          
Unknown Distance: Riders do not know the total quantity of laps, established by the race officials prior to start.  Bell will ring with 1.5 laps to go.  Riders finish final lap 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc
          
Unknown Points: Riders compete for points 5/3/2/1 on bell laps.  Bell laps are only known by the officials .  Bell will ring with 1.5 laps to go for each points lap.  Final placings based upon accumulated points.
         
Tempo: Riders compete for points 2/1 on every lap.  Final placings based upon accumulated points.
         
Super Tempo to Target: Riders compete for points 3/2/1 on other every lap.  First rider to accumulate or exceed the target total wins; remaining placings based upon accumulated points.  Lap cards will not be shown.  If a rider is nearing the target total and if, in the opinion of the referees, the rider is tactically in position to accumulate a winning total, a lap card with 1 to go will be shown.
