I picked up 3rd at Sturbridge on Saturday. I followed Adam's "like-a-hot-knife-through butter" path up through the field in the final 3k, then launched it with about 350m to go. It was a bit early, but I thought it was the moment. Uglietta (Adler) and I were drag racing to the line and he got past me, then started to pull away by a good bike length - it all seemed to happen in slow-motion. A guy in a black jersey torpedoed into 2nd at the last moment, leaving me in 3rd.
