Decent race today in CRCA C field; approx 40 riders or so. I was a little pooped after racing yesterday and I dragged off the back quite a bit; managed one attack after Harlem Hill that was roped in not long before 72nd Street. There were a few other
one-rider breaks that got reeled in fairly quickly. The group was together for the finish behind the Met Museum - I like that finish; it seems to reward a good climb up Cat's Paw and being able to roll into a decent sprint. Anyhoooo....got up Cat's Paw and found myself in third position and just whatthehelledit - probably a little too early, but I crossed in 4th, just clipped at the line.
